2010 PreRequisites download fails

description

Hi

I was building a 2010 source today and used the -GetPrerequisites $true switch, but it got stuck on the Reporting Services Add-In.
  • Getting prerequisite "SQL 2008 R2 Reporting Services SharePoint 2010 Add-in"...
    • Connecting.....
    • Downloading rsSharePoint.msi...
    • An error occurred downloading rsSharePoint.msi, retrying...

I checked through the XML file and found the URL it was looking for:
        <Prerequisite Name="SQL 2008 R2 Reporting Services SharePoint 2010 Add-in" Url="http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/0/F/10F1C44B-6607-41ED-9E82-DF7003BFBC40/1033/x64/rsSharePoint.msi" Permalink="http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=166379" />
The link gives an error when you try to download in the browser as well. I tried the permalink and this worked. The url from the permalink is now:
 http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/0/F/10F1C44B-6607-41ED-9E82-DF7003BFBC40/rsSharePoint.msi
Note the only difference is that 1033/x64 has been removed from the path.

Updating the XML file to the new URL solved the problem and it then ran through fine.
